Spring Nails

Nothing says spring like pastel colours! spring may be nearly over but I thought I'd share anyway. They look nice in summer too and pastels are so pretty that they should be around all year!

I have these on my nails now but when I took these photos I had work and I'm not aloud nail polish at work *cries* but let me tell you they look fabulous!  ;) (I'm not wearing duck egg thought, I'm wearing a baby blue which I couldn't find at the time)

Half Term Drugstore Haul

I worked  all half term and with the pennies I earned I treat myself to a few things from the drugstore. Thanks Alice :)

First up I bought two nail polishes on my way home of the last day of school (I actually got these from the makeup section in Morrison's but still)

Rimmel London 60 Seconds Super Shine By Rita Ora- daisy days  (£2.99)

This is a bright yellow and works well with pastel colours, which is what I wanted it for. The brush I quite fat so it's super easy to apply and it needs about two coats and then it's also opaque. I have it on two of my nails now and I'm really impressed, its such a happy colour and defiantly a staple for the rest of spring and summer!

Maybelline Superstay Forever Strong Professional Nail Varnish- Pink in the park (£4.49)

This one, like the other is a pastel colour but this is a baby pink colour. It has a fat brush and drys quickly and It needs two to three coats to be fully opaque. I don't normally like pink but it's warming up to me and I can't deny this is gorgeous and also on two of my nails, where it is going to stay for some time!

The other three things I picked up in boots on the way home from work one day.

Maybelline EyeStudio Colour Tattoo 24hr Cream Gel Eyeshadow -off and on bronze  (£4.99)

I've wanted one of these for ages and only just cracked and finally got one and let me tell you, IT'S AMAZING! I genially love it! Its so easy to apply and the colour is beautiful. I got is in off and on bronze or something like that which is a shimmery bronze colour and is just gorgeous! All I do is apply some to my lids with and finger or brush and then just blend it out with a fluffy brush and that's it! I also drag some into my waterline and smoke it out with some eyeliner (I just make it up as I go alone basically) I want to experiment with it as most people who's talked about it say they use it as a base so that sounds interesting, only I suck at eyeshadow so I could take me sometime until it looks good XD

Collection Gorgeous Glow Block- blush  (£2.99)

This blush has five shades that you swirl together to give you a subtle natural glow and I can't help but agree that it is gorgeous! I've worn this twice out and both times I've gotten complements and it was only £2.99, so yes I'm very chuffed with it!

Rimmel London Apocalips Lip Lacquer- nude eclipse  (£6.49)

I remember Louise from Sprinkle of Glitter mentioning something about these a while ago so when I saw them I investigated further.  I was already looking for a nude lipstick so I was automatically drawn to "nude eclipse" However, I wasn't sure what it would look like and was worried it would make me look lip I had foundation on my lips which isn't very hot and as my old head of year would say "you look ill" to the girls who had it on. But I fretted over nothing because I love it (I've so over used that word but I don't care haha) It's slightly darker then my lips and is just stunning! (I can' describe things for the life of me!)

I was very chuffed with these purchases if you can't tell hehe!
