Autumn Lip Picks


I was supposed to do this post donkey's years ago, hence the Halloween decorations but these will work in the winter too. plus it's still technically Autumn.

 As the leaves turn colour so do most peoples lipstick colours (though personally I wear these all year round) I when through my lipsticks and sourced out all the browns, berries and reds and photographed them for you :) Most of these are reds and berry colours but the ones on the left are more natural and brown toned.

 From left to right: Rimmel Kate Moss- no. 26 (I think..), Rimmel Kate Moss nude collection- 48, Revlon colourburst matte balm- fierce, Rimmel exaggerate lip pencil- red diva, Rimmle Kate Moss- 107, Rimmel Kate Moss- 101, M.A.C lip pencil- Whirl (also Velvet Teddy but I lost it *sob* but I bought another *purse sob*), and Rimmel Colour Rush Balm- No idea and I'm way to lazy to venture upstairs haha, if you want to know just ask and I'll find out :)

 I love autumn and the colder months and all the colours that come with them.

FOTD: All Out Casual




Despite being tragically unphotogenic, I quite liked my makeup today :) It's what I would call "all out casual" as the bold lips are like BAM in your face but I'd still and did wear it on a regular day. But then again I'm not one for subtlety ;)

Products used:

  • Rimmel 107
The sad thing is I took quite a few pictures this morning and these were the only three I didn't completely hate XD It's just one of those days haha..

I Have Short Hair!

A lady in the hairdressers said I looked like Taylor Swift with this hair so I put on my hat ;)



 I've wanted to cut my hair for ages to get rid of my dead and spit ends and to put life back into it. So this morning I went to the hair dresses on a mission. Yesterday, my hair came to around halfway down my back, my side fringe had grown too long to be identified and my hair was too heavy to do anything with. So I just wore it up most of the time. Today my hair; just touches my shoulders, is full of life and in my opinion is pretty darn fabulous! ;)

What I love about it is that it's kind of 'edgy' and is supposed to be messy and 'roughed up'. I also think I represents me more.. if hair can do that? I think I makes me look more artsy and creative as well as quite girly but at the same time not a "girly-girl" and not to mention a little wild and crazy ;)

The only down side is that it's too short for updos so I can say goodbye to my beloved messy bun for a while. I also can't put it in a low bun which I need to do for CCF and I don't know how I'm going to put it up for boxing and general exercise.. BUT I don't care too much because I love it! :)

Just think about how much shampoo I'll save.. oh my

Red Lips and a Messy Bun


                                
                   

I woke up late this morning which only left me like 5 or 10 minutes to get ready and get out of the door, (Story of my life!) This meant that I didn't have time wash my hair which had seen better days so not only was a bound to look dead and sleep deprived at school I was almost certain to have greasy hair!

But, "Is it a bird?" "Is it a plane?" "No, it's super...er...bun!"

Okay well maybe a messy bun isn't a superhero but in your time in need it's a life saver (your social life that is ;))

After quickly whipping my hair into a messy bun, I ninja-ly applied some concealer, eyeliner and mascara, nothing fancy just de-zombifying myself.

A messy bun is often my go-to hairstyle;
> It keeps my hair out of my face and out of thought so that I can move on with my life without constantly correcting my fringe or parting. This is very convenient for school or work.
> It hides my many bad hair days.
> and personally I think it looks quite nice. On the rare occasions that I have a good hair day, where my hair's lovely and voluminous, and still do a messy bun it can look quite tumbr-ish when put with a cute tumblr looking outfit :)

On the way home from school I got the inspiration to do a blog post on this look as I wear it a lot.. it's probably my most worn make-up look, I really like it! So when I got in I added foundation and my beloved red lip.

The products I used:

hair: brushed and backcombed with a tangle teezer and then sprayed with hairspray
I usually use a dry shampoo for texture and volume but I ran out..

(these two have weird lighting but it shows the colour of my lips better :) )
