DIY Easter Treats!

 I was inspired to bake this Easter by pinterest and my cake pop maker just sitting in my kitchen waiting to be loved. I ended up making three different things that all revolved around being  on a stick.

And I know they kind of failed aesthetically but they taste really good!

I'm not going to pretend to be a professional cook or anything, I'm just a 16 year old with a wooden spoon, so I'll link the recipes I used below. Enjoy :)

What you will need to get your bake on:

  1.  Conjure up some ingredients

I raided my kitchen to see what I already had and then bought some stuff at tescos. It obviously depends on what you plan to make :)

2.Pop on some tunes

3. Follow your recipe.. or just wing it

 For the cake pops I followed a regular Victoria sponge recipe and then poured the mixture into my cake pop oven thing, if you don't have one you can still make them, just google it :) then I just let them cool and stuck a stick in them with a little candy melt, or chocolate would work.
For the Oreo lollies I just took them apart stuck a stick in between.. the struggle of breaking the biscuits though.. I wanted to cry ;-;
The last thing I made was rice krispies squares and to make those I just melted some marshmallows and butter and slowly added the rice krispies. Then I spread the mixture on to a tray and popped it in the fridge before cutting them in to square wannabes (in other words they didn't look like squares)

4.  Make them look pretty.. or at least attempt

I decorated mine with candy melt which burns if you microwave it too much, just saying :)

Okay whale that's it!

Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoyed ^.^
 Did you bake anything for Easter?
I hope you have a super fantastic Easter!
CYA!
