Spring Fashion Inspiration

Well, spring is officially upon us and after several hours on pinterest, I decided too put together a "Spring Fashion Inspiration" post to get into the spring mood :) Most of these can work in summer as well.

Pastels

Pastels are stereotypically spring, I mean I don't know about you but even when I think of the word "spring" it's written in baby pink. I don't know why either, maybe it's because they're light and girly and not to bold and in your face. They're the perfect transition colours from winter's dark colours to summer's bright colours. I absolutely adore them!

Floral

Another stereotypical spring thing because you know, flowers blossom in spring and all. However it's weird that I'm putting them in this post because I used to hate floral prints as I thought they were either super girl or for old ladies. Oh how wrong I was.. I mean they're still super girl but I don't mind that much anymore (not like I did when I was a kid and hated the sight of pink, YUCK!) in fact I quite like them, especially little prints and daisies.

Lace

Lace reminds me of the little sundresses I worn on summer holidays when I was little. It's very bohemian and screams music festival. Now that it's getting warmer I want  to add some lace dresses and tops to my wardrobe so I can feel like a summer Goddess, especially with a flower crown. Oh how Tumblr!

High Neck Spaghetti Tops and Dresses

Ignoring the fact of I have no idea what these are actually called I love them and think they're perfect for spring and summer! There are such a cool twist on you're average strapy top (which I look hideous in as the boob gods frown upon me completely missed me out) These just look so chic and tumblr and I think they're super flattering!

Denim

Denim is obviously an all year round thing but I thought I'd still mention it because I've seen quite a few spring outfits I like that include it that I love the look of. Mainly waistcoats and dungarees.. I LOVE dungarees! :3

Stripes

Stripes are another thing I used to hate but they're grown on me (not literally) .. probably due to watching too much a lot of Zoella. I think they're very stylish and even classy ;) And I think they're perfect for spring to pair with a bright colour because they may be monochrome but they still look bright and add interest to an outfit.

Whale, that's it. Of course there are tons of clothes I think are super springy but I tried to narrow it down. If you want to see where I found all these pictures and more my pinterest is linked below :)

Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoyed ^,^
What do you think of these and what are your spring fashion must haves?
I hope you have a super fantastic day!

Sneaky Drugstore Haul

During the Easter holidays I was back at work and a few times on the way home, me and my sister popped into either superdrug or boots and I bought a few things.. oops?

So what did I buy...
  • Garnier Marcella Cleansing Water- I've heard a few people mention this and seem to like so when I spotted in boots I investigated further. I'd describe it simply as a make-up remover and a very good one at that! I've tried it few times now and I'm truly impressed! It comes off so easily and doesn't irritate or sting my skin like some makeup wipes do.
  • Boots cotton wool pads- Just what I use to take of my makeup :)
  • 52 Goody ouchless elastics- I use this little clear elastics all the time and I manged to lose 52 of them! (reminds me of bobby pins/grips the little buggers ;) )
  • L'Oreal Paris True Match Foundation- I really wanted to try out a new foundation and I've heard a lot about this one so I picked it up. I've tried it a few times and I'm not sure how I feel about yet. It's really runny which I thought was weird and I can't decide whether it makes a difference or not but maybes that's because It's low coverage and maybe that's what is suppose to be like? I don't know..
  •  Rimmel London Exaggerate lip liner in 024 Red Diva- Having not the steadiest hands when it comes to makeup, I wanted a red lip liner as I wear red lipstick a lot way more then I should. Not only dose it make it easier to make it neat, it also makes my lipstick last all night. I went to a party the other week and people kept questioning me about my lipstick and was like "as if it's still on" I was pretty chuffed.
  • got2b Beach matt Mermaid look Texturising salt spray- Mermaid look MERMAID look! Who doesn't want to look like a mermaid? Summer is around the corner so I wanted a salt spray to try out because I've heard so much about them and I wanted to look all beachy and tropical and then I found this! I'm so excited to see if it works!
  • Barry M Gelly hi-shine in Cotton- Again, after being inspire by youtubers and instagram and all things Internet, I really wanted to try white nail polish for this time of the year because it's so bright and looks so classy ;) And I love it!
Whale that's all the lovely things I bought myself, thanks Alice for working so hard hehe

Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed ^.^
Have you bought anything nice lately? please share in the comments.
I hope you have a super fantastic day!

DIY Easter Treats!

I was inspired to bake this Easter by pinterest and my cake pop maker just sitting in my kitchen waiting to be loved. I ended up making three different things that all revolved around being  on a stick.

And I know they kind of failed aesthetically but they taste really good!

I'm not going to pretend to be a professional cook or anything, I'm just a 16 year old with a wooden spoon, so I'll link the recipes I used below. Enjoy :)

What you will need to get your bake on:

  1.  Conjure up some ingredients

I raided my kitchen to see what I already had and then bought some stuff at tescos. It obviously depends on what you plan to make :)

2.Pop on some tunes

3. Follow your recipe.. or just wing it

For the cake pops I followed a regular Victoria sponge recipe and then poured the mixture into my cake pop oven thing, if you don't have one you can still make them, just google it :) then I just let them cool and stuck a stick in them with a little candy melt, or chocolate would work.
For the Oreo lollies I just took them apart stuck a stick in between.. the struggle of breaking the biscuits though.. I wanted to cry ;-;
The last thing I made was rice krispies squares and to make those I just melted some marshmallows and butter and slowly added the rice krispies. Then I spread the mixture on to a tray and popped it in the fridge before cutting them in to square wannabes (in other words they didn't look like squares)

4.  Make them look pretty.. or at least attempt

I decorated mine with candy melt which burns if you microwave it too much, just saying :)

Okay whale that's it!

Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoyed ^.^
